Active Equine Solutions (AES) is an independent, specialist consultancy dedicated exclusively to the planning, design, and operational implementation of world-class equestrian infrastructure. Our expertise spans racecourses, training facilities, hippodromes, breeding farms, educational campuses, and master-planned equine developments.
Founded in 2014, AES leverages nearly two decades of hands-on experience within the Thoroughbred breeding and racing industries to deliver practical, common-sense design solutions. This grounded approach has driven successful project collaborations across Australia, the UK, and the Middle East.
Through our work, AES has built a strong international network, including close partnerships with JPlus Equine (UAE), Peppertree Arcadia (AUS), Burton Equestrian (AUS), and Elite Equine (AUS), alongside many other equine professionals.
Our team brings together expertise in racecourse design and engineering, track surface science, equine welfare, quarantine and biosecurity protocols, operational management, international regulatory compliance, equine infrastructure design and layout, traffic and horse-flow planning, and project management. We work alongside architects, engineers, and developers as a dedicated equestrian partner — providing the specialised knowledge needed to strengthen concepts and de-risk the entire development process.
